friendlyway will present its new generation of electronic reception solutions at STB in Mainz, Germany
At this year’s STB (Seminar- und Tagungsbörse) held on 21 February 2008 in Mainz, Germany, the Munich-based company friendlyway will present the latest generation of virtual stewards. Friendlyway uses this term to refer to digital visitor management solutions for hotels and event & convention centers. In addition to digital greeting displays, electronic event billboards and navigation functions, this year’s presentation will focus on end-to-end digital door signage solutions.
Digital signage has become a major technology trend, and as a result they have become so affordable in recent years that they represent a viable alternative to customary signage systems. The digital signs also offer the added benefit of allowing to be updated extremely flexibly and at almost no cost. When comparing the total signage cost for a period of several years, digital signage systems are actually cheaper than traditional systems if frequent updating takes place.
One of the highlights at this year’s STB is the new and elegant “friendlyway admire” designer display. The display is ideally suited for use at the reception desk in hotels and event/conference centers. The system is equipped with a touchscreen and its classy exterior houses an integrated high-performance processor. The casing, which can be secured against manipulation, offers numerous expansion options such as a card reader. It is therefore fit for use as a corporate access control and time capture system.
The digital friendlyway stewards will be presented live on 21 February 2008 at the Mainz STB trade show in CCM’s Rheingoldhalle at Booth M12.
